Jean DAMBRUN (ENGRAVER) was a French engraver, one of the well-known 18th century masters of engravings of paintings and drawings.

Engraved by Dambrun after a drawing by BL Prevost.

Corneille POELENBURG (1594-1667) PAINTER - Dutch painter of Italian landscapes.

Published in Paris, ca. 1780.

The text under the image has been engraved in plate and is in French. It is part of a cycle of engraved plates made from the works of the Monsignor Gallery, Duke of Orleans, the largest collection of Western art, in particular Italian, never assembled in private hands and probably one of the most famous internationally.

Excellent conservation conditions, as shown in the photographs.
