Splendid painting by the Piedmontese artist P. D. Ollivero, oil on canvas, in excellent conservative condition and framed in coeval golden and painted wooden frame.
This work is found in the pages of Volume I of "The Pleasures and Graces", published by the Pietro Accorsi Foundation in Turin in 1993. The photo of the painting can be found on page. 208 and is thus described on page 141 of the aforementioned volume: "... two young people are flirting between a lively group of people ...".
The work belongs to the juvenile phase of Ollivero, a period of important stylistic growth in which his experiments are perceived among the various artistic influences, in particular the Flemish ones.
