Full-length portrait of marching warrior with armor, rifle and sword.
Tempera painting on canvas, signed in graphite on the lower right, by the Tuscan Macchiaioli painter Cristiano Banti, datable to the 19th century.
On the reverse it bears the following inscription "Armigero study of a detail from the Sack of Rome - for authenticity Giulio Banti".
Painting in excellent state of conservation, as shown in the photographs, within a gilded wood frame (some lack of relief decoration), with glass and passe-partout.
