The work depicts an interior, probably of a convent, of which the stairs between one floor and another are taken. The stone building has a very classic structure with clean lines, with porches and columns. Some figures roam the lower floor. The present work focuses above all on the effects of light and its consequences on colour, which in this case varies significantly, assuming different pastel shades.
In excellent conservation conditions as per photographs within frame.
