Splendid pair of small 17th century oil paintings on canvas, depicting two battle scenes,

works of beautiful quality, attributed to the Neapolitan painter Aniello Falcone,

he was one of the most original artists of seventeenth-century Naples, so much so that he earned the nickname "The Velázquez of Naples".

The two paintings have been restored and relined, framed within carved wooden frames and gilded with gold leaf.

In perfect condition, as shown in the photos.

Frame dimensions: 43 x 34 cm each. approx .;

Paintings dimensions: 31 x 21 cm each.
